#627 – The New Dawn
(October 26, 2003 – valsa, slightly syncopated)

Meditation: Humility extinguishes suffering.
We are trapped in our own prisons of doubt.

{Here in God’s living grace,
With His light on our face,
We return to the last thing we know,

Which is what we have learned
From the lessons that burned
From Above that we’ve reached from below.}

O my Master, You taught
That these battles we fought here
Were only for shedding despair;

We now build worlds of peace,
Let all sorrows release
And extol the new dawn, bright and fair.

O my Mother, the Queen,
Lives right here in this dream
Which we only can access through love;

When we humble our mind
And be serving and kind,
We can penetrate through from above.

I now call Jesus Christ
Who has come to us twice
And who waits for us at His return.

Are we Christians or Man
Who does less than he can
To receive this great blessing we earn?
