#629 – The Blessed Pilgrim
(November 19, 2003)

Meditation: The solitary path, in brotherhood.

{I walk along on my narrow way,
Singing praises to God
In Whom mine every breath to pray
Upon His staff and His rod;

This is what I’ll say to you:
Come along here with Me,
{Forever to redeem our soul
And set our fetters all free! }}

My Father and my Mother here
Are brilliant and so divine –
My Father kind, my Mother dear,
Please heal me, I have been blind;

I come to You with contrite heart
And song deep inside my soul;
I drink the chalice of Your love
Till I’m completed and whole.

There is one more thing we must do now
Before we ascend to the Light –
To bring all the love that God allows
And hold all life in our sight;

We thought we knew what we must do
To show our worth to the Lord,
But humbleness and obedience
Come on His miraculous chord.
