#645 – Blind, So I Can See
(January 26, 2004)
Meditation: the balance of self-authority and obedience.

{Here I pray before Almighty God,
Begging for His grace and love,
{Following the precepts of His staff and rod
And receiving what He sends down from above.}} (2)

I’ve been groping on this cold, dark earth,
Trying to remember my way back,
Knowing only to reverse my birth
And conceive myself in peril of attack.

My Father and my Mother are here, ‘waiting me
To return to my real home,
To resolve the final meaning of my legacy
And for all considerations to atone.

I now allow mine eyes to soften, gently close
To all the suff’ring fantasies I hold,
Lay my head in God in sweet repose
And transubstantiate as Master told.
