#647 – The Breath of the Line
(January 30, 2004 – mazurca)

{My Father of Peace
And my Mother of Wisdom}
{Conceive me in bliss
With Your delicate kiss.}

The Christ is the name
Of our Savior, Lord Jesus;
In awe we bow down
On our face and our knees.

I humbly take hands
With my sister and brother,
For here the God stands
With the Light of His Love.

I now say this to you,
My dear brother and sister:
Who but only a few
Have the strength to resist.

Come now into this shrine
While we watch for the message
From the Holy Divine
That’s awaiting our pledge.

We must pledge to wake up
In God’s imminent Kingdom;
If you drink from His cup
Let His strength to bring from.

Now, at last, you can go
To the death of your lifetime:
In the past it will flow
From the breath of your line.
